The Harsh Reality of the Money, College, and Time Love Triangle

We were searching around the internet and researching about the high costs of college tuition and we came across a website that brings up one question; are you for or against a certain subject. And obviously the question was is the cost of college too high? Everyone that had something to say on the website seemed to be for the lowering of income except this one person. His or her argument was mainly based off how there are many cheap local schools that kids are able to attend. Also he or she was saying how the cheap schools are about 5000 grand a year and how that can be paid off by the kids working during the summer or on weekends. After reading this comment on the whole situation we all just looked at each other and we dumbfounded by the comment. First of all when you are in college you do not have time to get a job on the weekends to pay for your tuition. Some kids in college are taking really difficult classes that require to study and get work done on the weekends. Especially if you are a freshman or sophomore because those years are the most valuable times to get your life together. They need to focus on their future rather than paying for something they cannot afford. He or she also says that it is a fairly easy choice to not go to a big school over a small school because of the money. But what he or she does not realize is that by going to a big school makes your resume that much better. Some might argue as long as you have a college degree you are set, and we agree with that, but that is like saying race does not play a role in hiring as well(but that is a whole other subject to rant about). With that said if we were able to comment on this website, we would have to disagree with what that person has said about the high costs of tuition nowadays. Here is the link if you have the guts to question this person's thoughts:http://www.forandagainst.com/College_Tuition_Is_Too_High
